'She Dreams in Colour'

2013 - 14 This series combines the leafy organic environment and the seasonal change of light that affects the soft tonal qualities of a subject. The oil paintings focus on the contrast of the vibrant and faded colours of autumn, subtly highlighting the mood of the model. Inspired by light reflecting on its surroundings, the paintings explore the way the light is absorbed by the forms and how the exquisite colours generated are transferred and shared between objects in the study.
